Laser Concepts of Louisiana 504.888.8484
Now is the time to say goodbye to ingrown hairs, cuts, nicks, painful tweezing, razor burns, and costly waxing! At Laser Concepts of LA we offer you a quick, safe, and affordable way to remove unwanted body hair.
If you are tired of shaving, waxing or tweezing only to have it return days later, laser hair removal is the solution for you. Our goal is to help you eliminate unwanted hairs safely with no down time and minimal pain. The laser targets pigment in the hair follicle. Heat is absorbed and destroys the cells lining the hair follicle specifically around the bulb, bulge, and vascular supply of the hair.
Hair follicles grow and regrow in cycles and only growing follicles are affected. For best results, multiple treatments will be needed. For most areas, 4 to 6 treatments are necessary to achieve desired hair clearance. One may need more or less than 6 treatments depending on hair type, previous methods of hair removal and skin color. Laser hair removal is not a permanent removal, but a permanent reduction of 85 to 90%. After each visit you will see 15 to 20% reduction, making it easier for you to shave between treatments with less irritation!
This treatment is for both men & women, and all body parts.
TREATMENT GUIDELINES:

Pre-Treatment
Post-Treatment
The treated area may be pink or red following treatment. This will generally last for 2-5 hours up to several days. Cover the treated area with sun block of 15-30 during course of treatments. NO TWEEZING, PLUCKING, or WAXING during course of treatments. Hair remaining in the follicle will extrude typically in 10-15 days after treatment. It is the body eliminating the hair from the injured follicle. Treated area must be cared for as if it were sunburned.
Treatments are approximately every 4-6 weeks for face, 6-8 weeks for mid-section (abs, back, bikini, etc), and 8-12 for the legs. For optimal results 4-6 treatments are required. Medical studies report that patients treated 4-6 times have had no significant growth for a period of 2-3 years.
